- Traditional Recliner
The two-position traditional recliner has always been a staple in the lounges all across the globe. - Power Recliner
A power recliner is similar to the traditional recliners in terms of its function, except that it is release by a power button which electrically powers the chair to tilt into a desirable angle. It gives you complete control of the recliner
- Rocker Recliner
The old favorite of grandparents and nursing mothers. Rocker recliner chairs recline with the support of an arched track which allows them to move back and forth. They are the most useful for people who have trouble sleeping, or if after a long day you are looking for some relaxation.
- Glider Recliner
This is almost the same as rocker recliner, except that it is arched to move backward and forward on a linear path.
- Push Back Recliner
These recliner chairs come without a button or lever, requiring of the occupant to exert pressure if they want to lean back. This is a new innovation and has become popular because of its sleek look.
- Lift Recliner
Lift recliners are usually recommended for elderly who are unable to relax in a deep cushioned recliner. The lift mechanism thrusts the chair from a seated position to an upright angle which guides the person seated in a standing position.
- Swivel Recliner
Swivel recliner are also relatively new in the market. With a circular base, they swivel right and left and lean backward. It basically gives you a full range of movement which is preferred by elderly people.
These are the most in demand for small spaces. Designed a little straighter, they can be pressed against a wall. By using minimum space, they give you the comfort you need. Wall-saver recliner chairs have a limited range of positions and motion though.
